UFC 262 Delayed as Jordan Wright Remains in Octagon Bowing to Each Spectator

The much anticipated Lightweight Championship bout at UFC 262 was delayed almost three hours this weekend when undercard fighter Jordan Wright refused to leave the Octagon until he had individually bowed to everyone in attendance for his bout with Jamie Pickett. Wright, who defeated Pickett by TKO in just 64 seconds, further delayed proceedings when, nearing the end of his bows, he suffered a sneezing fit and lost his place, forcing a restart to the process. The assembled journalists have expressed their interest in asking Wright for comment on the delay just as soon as he’s finishes bowing to everyone in the press pool.
