Sam Alvey Worried Next Fight May Be Must Win

It’s getting pretty serious now.

Fresh off a first round knock-out defeat to Michal Oleksiejczuk, sources say that Sam Alvey has privately expressed concerns that if he loses his next fight it might spell the end of his UFC career. While it is common for a fighter to receive a new bout offer coming off of one or two strikes, standing on the wrong side of an immaculate inning, Alvey is said to feel he has, at most, two or three more shots at this before he may have to find another option. Despite the concern, Alvey is said to be in good spirits and optimistic about his chances in the next bout, noting that nobody has ever gone winless in ten straight UFC fights before.
