Abu Dhabi Combat Club 2022 is in the books, and after an exciting weekend of grappling, fans are turning their attention to the next edition in 2024. Keen to capitalize on this high interest, sources within the organization released a first look at plans for the tournament, with the event set to feature both a 77-kg-and-over and a 77-kg-and-under division. With this single weight delineation, event organizers promise that viewers are sure to tune in and see all of the best grapplers who are heavyweights or just below the 77-kg limit putting on a show against a couple undersized world-champion-caliber competitors. To add extra suspense, the event will do away with extraneous Round-of-16 bouts, with just eight competitors in each bracket to ensure fans don’t get tired of watching men compete.
