FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Las Vegas, NV – The long and trusted arm of the Nevada State Athletic Commission has once again reached out and levied fair and imposing penalty on a UFC fighter for a grievous violation, with a temporary suspension to UFC Heavyweight Ilir Latifi for fighting with an undisclosed staph infection. Although Mr. Latifi attempted to hide the infection, by following clues such as Mr. Latifi admitting to the deception in his post-fight interview, the sharp investigators of the NSAC are now ready to levy a temporary punishment seeking further investigation to determine whether Mr. Latifi is guilty of doing the thing he said he did during the recorded and internationally televised event. Mr. Latifi is now forbidden from accepting any fights during the first month of his announced retirement, until further investigation can reach a final conclusion on the case.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission is the world’s premier athletic commission, overseeing bouts and protecting the bottom line of promoters in a broad range of sports including boxing, mixed martial arts, slap fighting and whatever else Dana White feels like promoting on a given day.
