By The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation announced its plan to suspend former UFC fighter Nate Diaz following a positive result in the urine sample Diaz will provide on the night of his boxing match against Jake Paul.
“Both fighters will be subject to our testing procedures and will provide a sample on August 5th,” the commission announced in a statement to MMA Junkie. “Upon receiving the sample, we will test it, along with Mr. Diaz’s B-sample, before delivering a six month suspension for being blazed as fuck.”
In addition to plans to suspend Diaz, the commission may also suspend one or more others on the card for taking performance enhancing drugs provided “any of them are too stupid to get their cycle right for their scheduled bout.”
