Calling on more than 20 months of training and nearly a half decade of watching MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blue belt Devin Peters lashed out at the recent news of a UFC fighter earning their black belt. Peters penned a 400-word comment on an Instagram post announcing the promotion, noting that the fighter was just “a pure striker” and probably hasn’t played spider guard his entire life. In addition to calling out the phony belt, Peters wished the fighter would come out to where he trains in Ohio so Peters could show him how a real grappler rolls.
