Man Receives Gloves Used to Batter Him Unconscious in Heartwarming Video

The saga of the retirement bout for Chan Sung-Jung, known by most in mixed martial arts simply as The Korean Zombie, continues to develop and only grows more warm and fuzzy by the day as the latest twist reveals Zombie is now in possession of the very gloves used to repeatedly strike and choke him about the head, neck and torso. Announcing the news in a video on his YouTube channel Zombie shared that his opponent Max Holloway had reached out after seeing stories about Zombie losing his own gloves to the crowd and sent his along as a consolation, mailing the prize in a box which also included various treats and goodies. Beaming from ear to ear Zombie happily showed off the gloves, which Holloway had previously repeatedly bounced off Zombie’s face to great effect, providing the sports world with one of its most befuddlingly sweet and touching gestures of the year.
