It’s a busy night of fights on ESPN+ tonight with both a UFC show and a boxing PPV on offer but you wouldn’t know it from the devices at Mixed Martial Artish headquarters which are all irrevocably tuned to the second game of the Tampa Bay Lightning’s NHL hockey season. Although all service from ESPN+ worked fine during the UFC prelims from 4 PM to 7 PM EST, as soon as the game between Tampa Bay and the Detroit Red Wings began suddenly all we could see was hockey. As the martial arts world’s premier news organization we promise to closely watch every second of the game just in case it switches over to the UFC on its own.
The Lightning, who entered tonight’s action on pace for a perfect 164-point season, are tied at two with the Red Wings after one period of action.
