Former UFC Welterweight Interim “Champion” Coby Covington is set to add a new arrow to his quiver of self-projecting insults to hurl in the direction of welterweight top-contender Belal Muhammad, with Covington’s favorite president’s third-favorite welterweight eager to label the Palestinian-American a terrorist. Covington, who once threatened UFC commentator Jon Anik with death if he didn’t stop saying things Covington disliked, is currently in a bitter dispute with Muhammad over whether the worthy challenger to champion Leon Edwards is a man on a ten-fight unbeaten streak or a guy who won one-straight over a year ago and last beat an active UFC fighter in 2018. Response from the MMA community has been mixed, with most fans agreeing to participate in the Islamophobic harassment of Muhammad but stopping short of gaining any positive feelings for Covington whatsoever.
